As part of my commitment to putting Hialeah residents first, I’m announcing one of the most transformative proposals in our city’s history: a plan to eliminate property taxes for all senior homeowners aged 65 and older.
This isn’t just a campaign promise—it’s a matter of principle.
Hialeah is home to thousands of seniors who have worked hard their entire lives, raised families, and contributed to our community in countless ways. Now, many of them are living on fixed incomes and struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living—especially property taxes. It’s unacceptable that the government continues to burden them in their later years.
My plan will eliminate property taxes for all residents 65 and older who own and live in their homes in Hialeah. No gimmicks. No red tape. Just real relief.
We will pay for it by cutting the waste. Under my administration, we’ll end bloated pensions for politicians, streamline city departments, and eliminate unnecessary spending that benefits the political class—not the taxpayers. I will also launch a full audit of city finances to prioritize basic services, public safety, and tax relief.
The choice is clear.
While my opponents have raised your taxes repeatedly, I am the only candidate offering real tax reform. They’ve called tax cuts “irresponsible”—but I call standing up for our seniors the right thing to do.
This is about values. It’s about treating the people who built this city with the respect they deserve. Under my leadership, Hialeah will finally deliver for the people—not the politicians.
Let’s fix Hialeah together. And let’s start by ending property taxes for our seniors—permanently.
